Ingredients

1. 12-15 cooked cabbage leaves, very well drained
2. 24 to 26 ounce jar spaghetti sauce ( choose a brand made without high fructose corn syrup, and with 10 grams or less carbohydrate per 1/2 cup serving)
3. 1/2 to one pound ground beef, ground Italian sausage or ground turkey breast
4. 16 ounces shredded mozzarella cheese
5. 1 1/2 cups Parmesan cheese
6. 1 1/2 cups cottage cheese (NOT low fat or fat free)
Directions
—————————————————————————- 1. Pre-heat oven to 475 degrees.
2. Cook meat and drain well. Add spaghetti sauce to the meat and mix well.
3. Lightly oil bottom of a 9"x 13" baking dish
4. Arrange 1/3 of the cabbage leaves in a single layer on bottom of dish.
5. Top with 1/3 of the meat sauce and 1/3 of each of the cheese.
6. Repeat with additional layer of cabbage leaves, meat sauce and cheeses.
7. Repeat again, with final layer of cabbage, meat sauce and cheeses.
8. Bake in a 475 degree oven, UNCOVERED, for 45 minutes to one hour.
9. Let stand for a few minutes before cutting into servings.
i made this post. i tried to make it neat. this was the neatist i could get it. i know neatist is not a word but forget about. tell me if you have tried this at home. if you did also tell me if it was good. thank you!
i would try it if i ate meat, but i do not
so how was is? or did u just write the recipe & not make it??
im italian , i wouldnt use cottage cheese in any lasagna
alsoooo , i make my own sauce and i would Never use ground turkey…i find it to be gritty…
if you make your own sauce , theres no yuckies in there…yuckies Is a word! believe it
